hi guys- it feels like its been forever since I wrote here. I hope everyone has had a great week. To be honest its tough to get back into the swing of things, but life goes on (and we survived monday!) so lets jump back into this little ole blog! Today I thought i'd share some of my favorite rooms from The Greenbrier (We just returned from vacationing there for a week so its all I can think about still). The decorating there is. just. unreal. It was originally done by the great Dorothy Drapery and it has been maintained, tweaked, and added to by Mr. Carleton Varney. The color and the whimsical beauty of this place is breathtaking. It is unlike any space I've even been to. It was the first place that I visited (almost 10 years ago now) that led me to recognize that interiors are in fact art. And the interiors at the Greenbrier truly are art- the unique pairing and mixing of colors, materials, patterns. But my favorite thing about Drapery and Varney's interiors is that they make you smile. They are so light hearted and happy that its like your eye gets a vacation just by looking at them. I hope y'all enjoy them as much as I do! xo.
