inspired by: Alessandra Branca

One of my favorite thing of 2014 was visiting the Kips Bay Showhouse. Kips Bay boys and Girls Club holds one of the best decorators show houses of the year. Unfortunately, I did not get the chance to go this year. BUT thanks to the internet, you can (almost!) feel like you were there. This years show house was in a  seven sorry townhouse at 58 E. 66th St. One of my biggest stand outs was Alessandra Brancas' room. I'm familiar with Branca (we've been fans of her fabric line for Schumahcer for a while). But after seeing this room, I wanted to know more.  Apparently Branca has a love for red. And this love of red shines through in her Kips Bay room. I'm amazed at the way that she uses red without it feeling too bold or modern. Her red room is charming and classic; see more below!
